We build community first with our Learners, then with our families.
Our community building starts first with our Learners. From the first day we work to develop 21st century skills that will help guide our Learners through their time at Green Adventure Project, and throughout their lives. We focus on building relationships. Our Learners are encouraged to take ownership over everything that we do at school.
With Learner planned events we invite our families to join us as we continue to build relationships. Our Learner's thrive sharing their work with their loved ones.
Community events might include:
autumn equinox potluck, garden tea party, lantern walk, winter solstice celebration, guest speakers, snow play, spring equinox celebration, garden give back days, and end of the year campout.
Our Learners work together to plan all community events.
